The project "Identification, assessment and recognition of informally acquired competences", short IBAK, is completed. This project site www.competences.info is still open to anyone interested, although it will be no longer updated.

The identification, assessment and recognition of informally acquired skills - for us these are still hot items. Get an updated overview on methods and instruments in our IBAK database on our homepage www.heurekanet.de or news from our BMBF project "KomBiA“. We look forward to your visit.

The SVEB is the holding organization of the advanced professional training. Private and state schools, associations, cantonal further education responsible parties, internal further education departments and staff responsible parties but also single persons, are represented in the SVEB, this one is working in the further education.

The SVEB promotes the cooperation under the further education institutions, arouses the public appreciation of the meaning of the further education and supports his members of the activity.

Over two millions people participate in further educational courses in Switzerland every year. The SVEB supports these people on the one hand and on the other hand arouses the inclination for further education at those which do not take her education chances (yet).

The SVEB also supports it, that the training offers obtain a high standard in Switzerland and that state, cantons and municipalities create optimal framework conditions for the further education.

Because further education is important:

  • For the particular, if he wants to develop his personal and professional possibilities.
  • For the society which lives on curious, versatilely qualified and flexible people
